Yeah I'm not overly excited, just because of the cost. LVL 5 takes 51k warbarge components and something like a 30 day wait period to be able to upgrade it from level 4. The delay and cost for 6 and up? Insane considering you get a mere 100 components a day per level of the factory and rewards from battle are scarce. You can get any where from 30 to 300 far as I've seen as salvage rewards from pub matches. The problem, you can play 20-30 matches in a day and get maybe one batch of war barge, if your lucky it's not just a lousy 30.
Mission rewards usually hover at about 250 or so each, and rewards from boxes is any where from 300ish to 1000 max that I have seen, but also rather rare to get any.
Obviously the best thing they could do is to increase the drop rate from battle/missions/boxes. That won't break much of anything too bad. Other adjustments though might just screw over people who already invested in their warbarge. Currently off just the Factory level 4 it takes a little over 100 days to get the 51k you need. It would make level 6 take half a year, lvl 8? Good luck you might get it in 2 or 3 years.
I suppose you could also make level 6 another, improved kind of factory to keep up with this cost. it's not quite as expensive to upgrade the warbarge itself as it is the stuff itself. |

You can upgrade your component subsystem to create more than one hundred a day. If you haven't upgraded it yet, then you have been waiting longer than you have needed to.
What I said is it was 100 per level, not that I have at the standard 100. As for the other post good luck at getting 2k a day out of pub matches. Many a time I've played matches all day to barely come out with 600 or less if I'm lucky. To the other poster who mentioned getting 3k from the salvage boxes, it must be pretty rare. I maybe get war barge components out of the boxes 1 in 10 times of opening a full ten boxes, and so far all mine have been a pretty low 400-1000ish in size. |
